U-100 syringe units describe volume: 100 units = 1 mL. International units (IU) describe a substance-specific quantity and are not interchangeable with syringe units or milligrams.
These tools provide arithmetic only. They do not select amounts, recommend treatment or establish a regimen.
Syringe Unit Converter
Convert volume and U-100 syringe markings in either direction. This scale is 100 units per mL; these units are not mass or international units.
Formula: syringe units = mL × 100; mL = syringe units ÷ 100. The capacity check compares the calculated volume with the selected syringe. Displayed decimals do not imply that every value can be measured on a syringe.
Unit Converter
Convert metric mass, volume and length, with pounds, inches and feet where applicable. Only units of the same quantity can be converted. IU is deliberately excluded.
Conversion uses exact metric factors, 1 lb = 0.45359237 kg and 1 in = 2.54 cm. Mass cannot be converted to volume without concentration or density, and IU has no universal mass conversion.
BMI Calculator
Calculate BMI for adults age 20 and older. BMI is a screening measure; it does not measure body fat or diagnose health.
Formula: BMI = weight in kg ÷ (height in metres)². Adult reference categories use the unrounded value: below 18.5, 18.5 to below 25, 25 to below 30, and 30 or above. This tool is not a child or teen BMI-for-age calculator.
BMR Calculator
Estimate resting energy expenditure using the Mifflin–St Jeor equation. Often called a BMR calculator, this tool estimates resting energy; it is not a laboratory measurement or an intake recommendation.
Mifflin–St Jeor: resting energy (kcal/day) = 10 × weight (kg) + 6.25 × height (cm) − 5 × age (years) + coefficient (+5 male, −161 female). The original study included adults age 19–78. Individual estimates can differ from measured energy expenditure.

TDEE = unrounded resting-energy estimate × your activity multiplier. The starting factor of 1.2 is an illustrative assumption, not an assessed activity level. Enter a factor from 1 to 3 to explore how this assumption changes the estimate. This tool does not prescribe calorie intake or weight-change targets.
Lean Mass Estimator
Estimate lean and fat mass from body weight and your entered body-fat percentage. This calculator does not measure body fat.
Lean mass = weight × (1 − body-fat percentage ÷ 100). Fat mass = weight × body-fat percentage ÷ 100. Both are shown in kg and lb. Lean mass includes water, organs, bone and other tissue as well as muscle. Accuracy depends on the body-fat value you enter. The accepted arithmetic range is 0–100%; the endpoints are not physiological reference values.
