Read article →mg and mcg measure mass
1 mg = 1,000 mcg. Divide mcg by 1,000 to convert to mg; multiply mg by 1,000 to convert to mcg. A mass value alone does not tell you a solution’s volume.
mL measures volume
Concentration connects mass or IU to volume. At the same target amount, changing the solution volume changes the concentration and the calculated target volume.
U-100 syringe units measure volume
On a U-100 scale, 100 syringe units = 1 mL, 50 = 0.5 mL and 30 = 0.3 mL. These markings are not peptide mass or HGH IU. The conversion applies specifically to a U-100 scale.
IU is substance-specific
International units describe a substance-specific quantity. IU cannot be converted to mass using one universal factor, and IU is not the same as a syringe unit.
Check the inputs
Confirm the unit attached to every number. Use positive values, check the vial concentration or amount, and distinguish a weekly amount from a per-injection amount. Review capacity warnings and displayed precision.
